The premise of the LOOKING BACK\, MOVING FORWARD exhibit is to offer a community space where people can leave behind\, access\, or take home as evidence a wide variety of frozen photographic moments from the Republican National Convention that took place in St. Paul\, MN in September 2008.
Both the community-driven concept and hanging technique of the show were inspired in part by the simplicity of the HERE IS NEW YORK exhibit that took place in New York City the aftermath of 9/11.
