International Anarchist Conspiracy Communique # 5

Embedded_video:

For the second time, the IAC would like to remind you all that it does not exist. The IAC is an illusion perpetuated through the usage of propaganda. It exists solely in your mind. Were it not for the tireless efforts of its creators, you would never have suspected its existence.

We have perpetuated this illusion for one purpose: To reveal to you The Shadow.

The Shadow is cast by our enemy. The Shadow is the negative, the inverted, the backwards and the dead. The IAC is the Shadow. The IAC is the reflection of everything we wish to rid the world of. If a group like the IAC existed, you should never join it. The IAC uses the same tools as the enemy. It mirrors the movements of the enemy. The IAC is The Shadow.

Now, do you understand? All propaganda is coercive. All representation is false and hollow. Symbolic thought always fails. Even at its most outlandish, people will cling to it.

We have no meaning. We have no illusions left to cling to. And so we cling to them all. We seek unity within the spectacle that is The Shadow. We feel connected to images, words and representations. We feel connected to dead things. All representation is lifeless.

We can be connected to one another. We need not bow to a panda, a cross or a witch. They are all equally meaningless. We can be unified by our own unbearable existences in this dying world. Or we can be unified by our efforts to bring about a different world.

In order to bring the world of your dreams, lovers, you must act. Act with purpose. Act with will. Act with love. The world outside, under the clouds, under the sun, is a world that is ours.

You are The Shadow. You sit. You watch. You believe.

Trust nothing that you hear, especially what we say. We are obviously liars. Trust only those made of flesh and bone. Trust living human beings. Trust the ones you love.

You are all that you need.

Our work is nearly complete. Just know, dear comrades and friends, that the only law the creators of the IAC obey is love. It is all we have ever obeyed, and it is all we will ever obey.

Congratulations, lovers, you have passed from intellect into action.

Hope you are ready to take the jump.

We will see you when we all get there.

RNC Haunted House and Critical Mass

Embedded_video:

Both events happened at about the same time. I photographed critical mass and made a video of the beginning of the ride. You can find the photos of everyone in their halloween costumes and the video at this link:

Shocking Video of Iraq Veteran's Head Crushed by Police Outside Presidential Debate

Embedded_video:

Shocking video shows former Army Sergeant Nick Morgan at the moment his head is crushed to the sidewalk under the hooves of a police horse.

Morgan lost consciousness immediately as bones shattered in his face. Visibly bleeding, he was tugged, dragged, arrested, and thrown in a police van, where other arrested veterans say he was denied medical attention. When he eventually made it to Nassau County Hospital, he was handcuffed to a gurney and given a prescription for Motrin and antibiotics.

Ironically, Morgan and other members of Iraq Veterans Against the War had come to the October debates with the intention of asking candidates pointed questions about lack of care for veterans.

Ground Noise & Static

Embedded_video:

In November, one or the other of the corporate candidates will win, and then, as always, it will be what the people do, not the politicians, that counts.

A video report on the protests that occurred in connection with the Democrat and Republican National Conventions, Ground Noise & Static is a manifesto. We went to Denver and St. Paul to take the pulse of the movement. Corporate media would cover the platitudes and posturing of the politicians, we were interested in something else, a story hidden in plain sight, captured in the now-classic street chant, “This is what democracy looks like.”

Ground Noise & Static is a joint effort of Franklin López of subMedia.TV and PepperSpray Productions. It is the direct result of a wonderful collaboration with many indymedia-style activists and journalists who all pitched in for the common good and success of their various efforts to tell their “Unconventional” stories.

Footage contains excessive use of force and questionable tactics used by police toward activists. It also includes interviews with citizens, asking them what they are fighting for.

This documentary is strictly for educational purposes only and should never be sold. The footage contains graphic state terrorism of its own people and some adult language.

The footage used in this documentary was shot mainly by independent, non-profit, and volunteer citizens that have risked much to bring you this uncensored look into the Republican National Convention. Thanks to all of you that fight for truth.

Elliot Hughes, tortured by Ramsey County Sheriff, testifies.

Your browser is not able to display this multimedia content.

24 September 2008--Arrested during Day 1 of the RNC, Elliot Hughes, while under the care of the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department, was starved, beaten unconscious, hooded and gagged, and ultimately denied medical treatment.

In this camera phone video I shot tonight, hear Elliot's full testimony before a special meeting of St. Paul's council members, on Wednesday September 24th, 2008.

Be warned. What Elliot has to report happened to him tells a disturbing story of unwarranted and unjustifiable police violence. By the end of his testimony, you'll see how St. Paul provided us with echoes of Abu Ghraib during the RNC.

The Ramsey County Sheriff's Department, headed by Bob Fletcher, felt it necessary to hold a press conference today before the public meeting to trash Council Member David Thune who had arranged the "Community Conversation".

Bob Fletcher is responsible for far more than Elliot Hughes' torture. He undertook many out-of-jurisdiction actions before, during, and after the RNC--including harassment of videographers who have remained in town to finish a documentary on the RNC protests.

Fletcher unreasonably attacked David Thune--the City Council member responsible for Ward 2 (Downtown & Lowertown St. Paul where the RNC and protests took place)--simply for holding a public meeting so that the very freaked out and disturbed locals can finally vent at the city.

A city that allowed itself to become Federal Occupied Territory ruled by thuggish police who made even home-owning, lifelong citizens of St. Paul be made to feel like the enemy by the police in their own neighborhoods.

Previously the mayors of both cities had been wishy washy about navel gazing, and had tried to pass off an appointed couple of federal lackeys with a mandate not to investigate police behavior, as an "investigation".

Elliot Hughes' testimony was the final straw that broke the camel's back. The deputy mayor of St. Paul rang Thune after the meeting to promise they would consider (an important word) expanding the investigation team from two members to a larger commission and having them and the Mayor attend the second meeting Council Member Dave Thune is calling.

The Minnesotans are rising...

Declare War on WAR! 9/04/08 peaceful protest

Embedded_video:

This is a montage of pics and videos on Sept 4th set to the song War on War. Up untill sunset, it was a peaceful protest and no dispersal order was given till after sunset, by which time most people had left. I was on the Capitol lawn when the first dispersal order was given to disperse west or face arrest, Well I did as i was told and led into an AMBUSH! cops started bombing us with concussion grenades, smoke bombs and tear gas. I was pulled to the ground from a cop who snuck up behind me in the confusion, was ordered not to move or I'd be shot! the cops stole my camera card of the last part when the cops turned violent. I developed "chest pains" and made them take me to the hospital, because i feared for my life and property!
Those Fascist pigs turned my country into a battlefiels and used chemical weapons on peaceful U.S. Citizens!

Police Tear Gas Protestors by River at RNC 2008 St. Paul

Embedded_video:

Police violently pursue non-violent protestors who are marching down by the Mississippi River at Shepherd Road and Robert Street in St. Paul Minnesota during the Republican National Convention on September 1, 2008. Tear gas and concussion grenades (aka flash bangs) are used by police on protestors as the protestors try to escape. Later the confrontation ends in a mass arrest (not shown in this video). You can also see Coast Guard gun-ships with two high caliber fully automatic machine guns mounted on each. What such a massive overkill style show of force is supposed to do is obvious: intimidate. What beating up and arresting protestors is supposed to do is obvious as well: squash constitutional rights to free speech, free assembly, and to dissent. Why police violently attack protestors who are not being violent is obvious: so that the news media focuses on violence instead of the message that the protestors are trying to get across... the higher ups in the police state want fellow Americans arguing about whether the cops or the protestors were worse, instead of thinking about the messages the protestors were trying to send to the public.

This video was recorded by Christopher who is currently a political t-shirt designer and custom t-shirt screen printer who uses eco-friendly water-based inks in Minneapolis. He was a TC-IMC volunteer from 2000 until 2004. He was not involved in the RNC 2008 protests directly, but rather was a witness and citizen journlist.
